4. I think it is absolutely unacceptable to change the appearance of a woman or person in general. It changes what makes a person unique. It lies about how the model really looks, to where it almost isn't them at all. It gives off the worst message, that women should be skinny, blonde, and other things which are wrong in so many ways. I could go on and on!
5. There are many situations where this would be morally and ethically incorrect.
6. I think changing a red eye or a hair that is out of place is okay. Changing the body shape, color, or appearance of the person itself I think is not okay at all. I also think it is okay to change the brightness or darkness of a photo, so basically anything that doesn't involve morphing the person in any way.
7. I think that fashion photography is more about the appearance of the people and how they look in the photo, while photo journalism is more focused on the all around environment of the picture. How the subject interact with each other, and how the background looks. It definitely captures more realistic pictures.
8. With photojournalism, it mostly captures things as they are, and doesn't change how people look. It captures live events and happenings in the world. For fashion photography, it is used mostly for advertising, which probably explains why they photoshop so much. They want it to look the best to appeal to people.
9. I think you are showing us these three photos to show the major differences and possibilities of photoshop. Anything can go in the fashion world, which I think is wrong.
10. I think that guys aren't in those videos because not as many modifications are made to the bodies. They don't have to put on makeup either!
