Top 100 photos: Ali vs. Liston

1. I picked this image because I feel like it tells a story. It shows emotion and pain and victory and defeat, which are feelings and emotions I feel are present throughout the course of someone's life.
2. In this picture, Ali is standing over the opponent that took his title one year before this one. He shot the man down only 1 minute and 44 seconds, taunting him with the feeling of victory. The photographer was very proud of this photo, and he had the best shot to shoot it!
3. In addition to the picture there was a video. In the video I learned about how this was during the time of the Civil Rights movement. Some people were also opposed to him illegally changing his name to Muhammad Ali. They referred to the punch that knocked down his opponent as the "Phantom Punch", where he struck Liston down with one quick punch. He won the match, and that famous picture was captured!
