Landscape preview

1. To be better prepared for a landscape shot and the place shooting at, I would personally go there in the first place and scout it out. Then I would look on websites or call to see if they have any tips or additional information.

2. I would download apps like maps or certain apps that would able me to see where it is and things to observe like sunrise and sunset, and the best places to take pictures at certain points of where the sun is.

3. With using a telephoto lense, the perspective can be affected and can make it harder to fill the whole frame with what you are trying to capture.

4. They advise to use digital SLRs, and to go into an application and touchup highlighting and light there.

5. Always carry.....
-waterproof plastic bag
-cleaning cloths for lenses
-towel to dry off body and lense

6. Pre-scouting would help because you could find a different spot to take your pictures in a spot you maybe initially did not think of.

7. Usually focus on making sure your subject is in the photo in a creative way, because if you stick to the compositions they can come out looking repetitive and boring.

8. To create simple images, make sure to include the important things but to exclude the things that may distract or aren't needed.

9. Black and white because a cloudy sky or blue sky can make the picture look a certain way, and maybe adding a different view can make the picture look better.

10. Use the knowledge from previous visits to try and produce a better photo or try and make one you initially didn't think of.
